About Titus

Our main photographer and photography teacher is Titus Bartos.

Titus has a passion for taking photos of people, both at our studio studio and on location. He enjoys meeting new famlies, artists, and couples, hearing their stories, and capturing their personalities in his photos.

From children that are his kids' age (0-5), to seniors and engaged couples, he sees every photo opportunity as a gift, and makes it his goal to capture his subjects' uniqueness in his photos.

Titus Bartos

Titus was born in Romania, where he studied piano and arts while growing up. In 2001, he came to the US to pursue his education in piano performance. He received his Masters in Piano Performance and taught many piano classes and private lessons, both during and after finishing his degrees.

While teaching piano, Titus fostered a love for teaching and helping people grow in their knowledge of the arts, not just piano. When he picked up his old love for visual arts through photography, it was not long before his love for teaching and the arts was spilling over into his photography.

In 2008, Titus founded Made in Murfreesboro and soon taught his first photography class. Since then, hundreds of students have learned not just the how-to’s of using their camera from him, but also how to appreciate good photography when they see it.

Titus is married to Laura and together they have three (soon four) children.

Titus loves fresh coffee, good jokes, expensive desserts, and he takes all of the above very seriously. And of course, everyone knows that Titus is pronounced 'Tee-toos'.
